About
McIlhany Parish
McIlhany Parish is comprised of two churches that have
been part of the southern Albemarle community for more
than 100 years.  Good Shepherd church, which is
located on Route 29 south, was founded in 1905.
Grace Church, on Red Hill Depot Road in North Garden,
was founded in 1923.  Many of the current members of
the church are family of the church founders who have
grown and raised their own families as part of McIlhany.

We are proud to be a small church and a welcoming
church.   Worship services have a friendly, informal feel
with a firm foundation in the Episcopal prayer book and
hymnal.  Our prayers, services and outreach reflect our
commitment to serving God in our church, our community
and our world.
